Check a job description
Privacy: the matcher processes your text locally in your browser and does not upload or save it. This page, like other pages on this site, loads the site's advertising script; the matcher itself sends your pasted text nowhere.
How matching works, in plain words: matching is case-insensitive. A skill counts as mentioned if the job text contains the full skill label, or if it contains every content word of the skill label (small function words such as and, or, of, the, in and for do not count). A partial phrase alone is not enough — for example, "patient assessment" on its own does not match "Patient assessment documentation" unless "documentation" also appears.
Paste the target job description here — not your resume.
What this tool is not
This is a keyword overlap check only — not an ATS score and not an employer's rating. A missing word does not mean you lack the skill; wording varies between postings. Add a term to your resume only where your experience honestly supports it.
Skill lists come from the "Key skills to highlight" section of each occupation's template page on this site.
